HTFD Employment

The Hamilton Township Fire Department is currently accepting applications to fill multiple Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic positions. Selected Candidates will be assigned to a shift and required to work every 6th day. To be considered for employment, candidates are required to successfully complete the FireTEAM and CPAT examination through the National Testing Network

The following documentation must be completed and submitted to employmenthtfd@gmail.com to be considered for employment:

  • Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ)

  • Ohio BCI - No criminal history

  • Ohio Driving Abstract - Must have no moving violations

Hiring Process: 

  • Application & Resume completed and submitted to employmenthtfd@gmail.com

  • Complete FireTEAM Exam

  • Complete CPAT Exam

  • Interview

  • Selections and Offers (Offers contingent upon passing drug/alcohol testing and department physical)

 

Position:    

  • Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic

    • $15.50/hr

    • Every 6th day

 

Required Certifications:

  • State of Ohio Certified Paramedic 

  • Firefighter II (240 hours)

  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License

*Interested applicants who possess a certification as an EMT-B in the state of Ohio with a State of Ohio Firefighter II certification and who are currently enrolled in a certified Paramedic program may apply.
